You may remember this time last year when you gathered into a classroom, computer lab or the Math wing to hear your club president say: “let's plan for the bake sale during lunch next week.”
But this year due to circumstances surrounding our world right now; we have moved to Zoom, where sadly, virtual bake sales cannot take place. Most of the clubs that have been approved by the school such as Model UN, DECA, Student Council, and many others have been allowed to resume starting this fall. Clubs that may not fit the guidelines due to social distancing and other safety guidelines have been put on hold, but nonetheless we are hoping that by next year we will be able to go back to normalcy!
On the plus side, zoom has also helped improve socialization and input from the other students by having them communicate with each other more often during the meetings. We hope next year, we will be able to meet in person again!
